Does the app work with no signal?Yes and no! You need a signal in order to set up a shoot up and to send/accept invites to shoots. Once set up the shoot and in the advent of no signal then the app will work locally on your phone and store the data in the cache.
You will be able to start and stop drives and record you shot:bag ratio.
This will then upload once you have a signal and you complete the shoot.
How do I get started?Very simply create your profile on the app. Remember your alias is with you for life and used when guns do not know you, so choose carefully!
What may sound amusing when you are 25 might not be quite sop amusing when you are 65!
How does the shot counter work?The shot counter is AI driven and accesses your inbuilt microphone. As more people use the app the more accurate it will become. We are currently over 95% accurate but if you do find a discrepancy its very easy to amend the shot count. That data then gets analysed automatically and feeds back into the model.
Privacy?We take privacy very seriously. In the public areas of the app you will ever be known as your alias and your shoot data limited to you shoot:bag ratio. The exception being if you have accepted a friend request with another Gun, in which case they will be able to view your name and shoot data.

How accuate is the data?Each gun is responsible for completing their bag. There will always be some discrepancies. Not all birds get picked and there is always a gun in the line who thinks they shot everything! Like all sports we rely on the honesty of the participants. However where there are significant discrepancies the shoot admin can amend bag numbers to ensure the global leaderboard is as accurate as possible.
What do I need to do on a drive?
All you need to do on a drive is press start and then stop at the end. You can complete you bird count then or at the end of the day (assuming lunch doesn’t fog one’s memory).
If you are in area with a signal, any invited gun using the app can start and stop a drive, just in case you forget!
